Telecommunication Engineer

This position is fully mobile with base location onshore office Stord, Norway, start with a normal dayshift then a 2/3 rotation, and it will be an offshore rotation during hookup and startup.

Main tasks:

• Contribute to the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings that are relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems.
• Provide engineering input.
• Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems, including input to plan.
• Work independently to plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities.
• Participate in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites.
• Deliver input and update progress into project completion system PIMS.
• Develop, review, and implementation of commissioning procedures.
• Coordinate and Interact with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning, with a high focus on HSSE.
• Identify and follow up risks and opportunities related to commissioning.
• Plan and call off ATS as and when required.
• Manage assistance personnel from contractors and other resources providing services
• Ensure spare parts and special tools are available prior to execution of commissioning activities.
• Plan and ensure first fills are available in a timely fashion and perform first fills.
• Provide leadership to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve the Company's expectations.
• Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.
• Participate in discipline MC punch rounds at sites for designated systems.
• Plan and execute commissioning activities in a timely manner based on the Commissioning plan.
• Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.
• Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.

Qualifications:

• BSc. Or MSc in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
• BSc. Or MSc in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
