The supply base in Kristiansund is part of UPN Joint Operational Support (JOS) and belongs to Logistics and Emergency Response (LE). LE is responsible for translating the installations' needs into concrete plans for the efficient utilization of resources related to vessels, air transport, emergency response and base operations. Base Operations is responsible for the company's base service agreements, as well as agreements for cargo carriers, waste, transport, tank washing and property. Central to our work is improvement work together with our suppliers in order to improve the flow of goods in order to support safe and efficient operations. Within base operations, it is important to ensure a safe and efficient supply from base to installation. As Terminal Coordinator in our OPS room, the focus will be to ensure efficient and reliable loading and unloading operations on supply vessels while maintaining a good HSE culture.

Work tasks

In the role of Terminal Coordinator, you will work to maintain operational interfaces within the fields of terminal logistics, goods flow and technical services. We interact daily with both internal and external stakeholders/parties, and we are therefore looking for colleagues who enjoy working in a team, communicate clearly, like to work out good solutions and who are able to adapt to rapid operational changes. We also work closely with the Company's other supply bases to ensure similar practices, share experiences and learn from incidents regardless of where they occur. By being part of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop professionally within logistics, and through varied work tasks and gain broad expertise. 

• Coordinate daily activities at the dock in consultation with customers, vessels and suppliers.
• Ensure efficient berthing time 
• Prepare a plan for base deliveries 
• Coordinate tank washing operations on vessels. 
• Follow-up of bulk operations. 
• Actively contribute to improvement efforts. 
• Contribute to safe and efficient operations 
• Ensure and ensure that relevant work processes are followed 
• Perform other tasks within base operations 
• Participation in a shift arrangement may be necessary.

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree, experience in logistics would be an advantage. 
• Is collaborative and has good communication skills with a desire to contribute to a positive working environment. 
• Ability to handle operational challenges in an operational environment. 
• Ability to take responsibility, work independently, and take initiative for improvement and acquire new knowledge. 
• Good IT and digitalization skills: Experience with SAP and Kabal is desirable. We are looking for candidates with an interest in IT and motivation for continuous development of their IT skills. 
• Structured and flexible.
