Wellsite Geologist

Description about project/department: Our team consists of Geo Operations Personnel working with planning and execution of production and exploration wells.

Description about tasks and responsibilities: Work offshore as Wellsite Geologists and onshore as Geoscientist Well Execution in our Geo Operations Center as well as contribute in well planning teams. Following shift schedule on 2 on and 3 off offshore and the GOC shift schedule onshore.

Competence Requirements:

•  Offshore work as wellsite geologist or working in our onshore geo operations center with production wells 

Personal skills:

• Adaptable and flexible in their attitude towards required work; should be seen as just as important as performing well planning. 
• Happy to work night shifts as well as day shifts. 
• Self-Starter- Will seek out what to do and how to do it rather than wait to be told. 
• Team oriented; thinking in terms of what benefits the project and how they can help. 
• Persistence; will follow up on questions and queries. 
• Preparedness: being ready with justifications and confident in delivering information if queried or challenged.
