Work Preparation Engineer – Electro

• Title: Jobsetter/Work preparation engineer – Instrument & Electro
• Location: Stavanger
• Duration: 1 year with possibility of extension

Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a work prep/jobsetter in instrument and electro for a 1-year assignment. 

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Prepare job packages in IFS for instrumentation & control, electrical and telecommunication work such as installation of instrument/telecom field equipment, junction boxes, cables, cable trays, tubing, etc.
• Constant interaction with other members of own discipline and all related to work being executed.
• Assist with other relevant engineering activities within the Electrical, Instrument & Control and Telecommunication disciplines.

Required qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree or trade certificate in relevant field 
• Minimum 3 years' experience working in Norwegian projects is required. Candidates without this experience will not be evaluated.  
• Previous experience with job setting
• Familiarity with preparing engineering work packages 
• Familiarity with NORSOK and other Norwegian Standards
• Fluent English is required, fluent Norwegian is advantageous. 
• Experience working in IFS is advantageous. 
• Note: Candidates must be eligible for work in Norway. 

This is a one-year contract with the possibility of extension, and our client would like the successful candidate to start ASAP.
