Discipline Responsible Piping Engineer

We are searching for a Discipline Responsible Piping Engineer for one of our clients in oil & gas.

Job Responsibilities:  

• DRE related tasks for MOD/KV projects
• PDMS Design (optional)
• Produce relevant Disc. documents
• Perform Piping related tasks Pre-Engineering, Detail Engineering and As-Built phase.
• Follow up Piping Prefab and Offshore Installation work
• Perform offshore survey as required (optional)

Required Education:

• Technical college, Bachelor or Master degree

Required Work Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience, preferably within offshore modification work in Norway
• Piping Design
• Experience from offshore platforms
• Preparation of work packages
• Familiar with 2D Microstation
• Knowledge of PSA requirements and Norsok standards

Experience not mandatory, but preferable:

• Experienced in PDMS
• Study experience, including estimating
• Knowledge of Lotus Notes, SAP and other tools used in Statoil projects
• ProArc knowledge
• Offshore survey
• Basic Safety Training Course

Required Qualifications:

• Good communication
• Excellent Norwegian and English writing and speaking skills desirable
• High degree of self-learning skills is desirable
