Responsible for practical guidance, coordinating reception and follow-up of personnel upon arrival at the shipyard, including competency checks, coordination with welding school, coordination of project familiarization, etc. Provide practical guidance for new personnel regarding meeting place, locker facilities, allocation of keys to lockers, luggage storage upon arrival and departure, and other facilities. Liaison between the resource department, construction, prefab and project.
Work tasks
Reception of personnel:
- Organize the reception process for hired personnel, including assisting with registering (opening / blocking) personnel in the HR system and following up on the completion of safety training.
Practical guidance:
- Provide newly arrived personnel with necessary information about applicable competency requirements, entry procedures, and meeting times/places.
- Inform employees about locker facilities, break rooms, canteen and parking options. Assign keys to lockers.
- Follow up on personnel who are missing or have defective required protective equipment.
Competency check and follow-up:
- Verify that personnel have the required competence, courses and certificates, including HSE courses, compliance courses and project-specific familiarization courses, before they are allowed to start work.
- Coordinate training at the welding school for personnel who require it, and follow up on their completion of the necessary training.
- Act as a liaison between the resource coordinator and project and work management.
Reporting and documentation:
- Together with resource coordinators and course coordinator, ensure that all information about personnel, course participation and competence is correctly registered in the company's systems.
- Report and follow up on lack of competence, course certificates, and ensure that necessary measures are implemented.
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills and ability to convey important information to new employees.
- Good language skills – English and Scandinavian.
- Experience with course administration and competency systems, as well as monitoring of personnel.
- Knowledge of HSE requirements and procedures.
- Knowledge of the textile and supplier industry.
Personal characteristics:
- Service-minded and ability to communicate clearly with personnel at all levels.
- Structured and solution-oriented with good ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good collaboration skills and ability to act as a liaison between different departments.
