Pipeline Engineer

Do you have experience with Pipeline Commissioning? 

We now have an exciting position with an attractive operator in the oil & gas industry. This is a one-year assignment.

Location: Stavanger or Oslo. Commuters accepted!

Key responsibilities encompass:

• Engaging in the design, engineering, and construction of subsea and pipeline systems, both offshore and onshore, with a focus on pipeline commissioning functionalities.
• Developing concepts and solutions for pipeline decommissioning and commissioning.
• Defining functional requirements for pipeline components.
• Overseeing pipeline commissioning contracts.
• Monitoring construction activities both onshore and offshore.
• Conducting quality assurance within the discipline.
• Offering operational support as needed.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is required. 
• Candidates should possess a robust background in Pipeline Commissioning and a solid understanding of project development. 
• Experience in managing engineering and marine contractors is essential, along with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant professional experience. 
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork capabilities, effective collaboration, and excellent communication skills. 
• A structured, systematic approach with a focus on results is also necessary.
