Introduction
Completion Engineer – Automation/SAS Commissioning Lead
The Automation/SAS Commissioning Lead will contribute to delivering the project according to plan and cost and assist in ensuring the Project Team delivers in accordance with client’s BMS and project mandate given by the Asset Management Team.
You will be responsible for providing planning input, direction, guidance and supervision of commissioning activities. The Commissioning Lead will ensure that commissioning requirements are carried out safely, efficiently, and ensure they meet all client’s project and operational requirements.
Role, responsibilities and tasks
- Commissioning planning input, direction, guidance and supervision of commissioning activities
- Provide input to the commissioning schedule
- Establish commissioning procedures
- Commissioning scoping in PIMS PES (WO’s)
- Link scope of work to required commissioning check lists
- Identify commissioning spares, temporaries, and first fill needs
- Identify commissioning assistance from suppliers, contractors & operation
- Participate in FAT/EFAT at contractors
- Participate in relevant ITP activities
- Participate in punch out and handover from Construction (RFCC)
- Prepare and participate in livening up of systems
- Lead and perform commissioning activities (offshore)
- Participate in handover to Operation (RFOC)
- Support project closeout
Experience, qualifications and abilities
- BSc. Or MSc in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within process and utilities
- Experience from NORSOK projects.
- Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems.
- Familiar with PIMS CMS and PIMS PES (recommended)
- Familiar with SAS testing
- Familiar with SCD’s and C&E’s
- Familiar with Functional Safety Standards IEC 61508 v.s. IEC 61511
- Familiar with brownfield projects (recommended)
- Offshore project execution experience

This position is fully mobile with base location onshore office Stavanger. Some offshore will be expected.
This is a 2-year contract, and our client would like the successful candidate to start ASAP.
