Senior financial controller/accountant

You will be working in a sector with one hybrid and three delivery entities, supporting functions and and Business Areas as 2nd line of defense on Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) and Internal Control over Sustainability Reporting. The team is located at various locations in Norway and the UK

Description about task and responsibilities:

• Enhance the clients internal control framework and design by understanding processes, risks and controls.
• Identify and document internal control gaps/deficiencies and work with the organization to implement remediating actions.
• Contribute to improvements and automation efforts to increase efficiency of internal control performance.
• Train others on ICOFR subject matter to enhance their control performance and understanding.
• Understand and implement new regulatory requirements.

Competence Requirements

• Masters in Accounting, Auditing or similar subject.
• 3-8 years’ experience of working with accounting, internal audit or similar. 
• Experience from key controls performance and development is an advantage 
• Professional skills with Internal control and Sarbanes Oxley Act.
• Ability to communicate complex professional matters to those not specialized in ICOFR. 
• Experience with using and/ or developing digital tools/ data analytics for financial reporting and internal control. 
• Experience with GRC tools, and or SAP
