Electrical Engineer

Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to assist in an EPCI modification project. 

Job Responsibilities

• Perform and verify design of electrical installations
• Package Responsible Engineer
• Define and design heat trace requirement in accordance with P&IDs
• Prepare, check and approve MTO
• Prepare check and approve technical requisitions
• Follow up vendors
• Insert data into engineering registry
• Produce engineering work packages
• Interface with other disciplines
• Site surveys

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree within relevant area
• Experience from electrical engineering in large modification projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
• Experience and knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standard such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC.
• Experience with STID and Procosys
• FSE: High- and low voltage including first aid course
• EX: Basic EX course, 6-8 hours online or 22,5 hours classroom
• Candidates must be eligible for work in Norway.

This is a 2-year contract lasting until the end of 2026, and our client would like the right candidate to start ASAP.
