Logistics Specialist

Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Logistics Specialist with experience from the oil and gas industry. 

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that work packages and constraints and implemented into the project plan. You will also be responsible for monitoring progress and producing accurate projections. 

Tasks and responsibilities

• Handle PO´s and requisitions (internal/external)
• Create work packages for workshop. (mob/demob/tool drawings etc.)
• Arrange transport (external/internal)
• Maintain an overview of internal movements of tooling and equipment
• Ensure other functions have access to accurate reports and projections, and make relevant reports available to the customer.
• Handle communication with colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
• Lead your own small assignments/projects as needed. 

Desired qualifications

• Relevant education in logistics, supply chain management, or similar is advantageous, but not a requirement. 
• Previous relevant work experience is required, at least 3 years. 
• Experience using Oracle and Ariba.
• Good interpersonal skills, as you will be communicating with a range of different people, suppliers, etc. 
• Ability to work independently. 

This is a 1-year contract, and our client would like the candidate to start in July. As a consultant with us, you will receive competitive compensation, and regular follow-up throughout your assignment.
