Preservation Lead

Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Preservation Lead to ensure successful execution of all the Preservationing activities within the project. You will also be responsible for managing personnel within your area of responsibility. This role reports to the Completion Manager. 

Responsibilities

This is a comprehensive role, and will include the following responsibilities and tasks: 

• You will be responsible for overall Preservation deliverables for the project including, Material and CPI reception, protect and preserve.
• Plan, monitor and progress work according to plan, budget and contractual milestones.
• Initiate multidiscipline meetings with the relevant disciplines when new information / clarifications are needed.
• Prepare discipline input to weekly and monthly status report according to project requirements.
• Carry out and follow up on ITP inspections. 
• Personnel responsibility, herein ensuring that team members conduct their assigned tasks and assisting when needed, monitoring results, and ensuring that team members comply with relevant HSSE requirements.  
• Responsible for verifying and monitoring any need for additional resources to ensure efficient implementation and execution. 
• Responsible for preparing for necessary utilities and temporary system for commissioning tests.

Desired qualifications 

• Technical education is preferred, but experience can compensate
• Technical experience in preservation is required.
• Previous experience from lead positions on multidiscipline projects. 
• Fluent English is required, fluent Norwegian preferred.
