Senior Drilling & Well Engineer

PDP D&W is responsible for planning and execution of Interventions, P&A, Drilling, Completion and Subsea of new wells on Fixed Platforms and Mobile installations. We are currently looking for new engineers for drilling & well planning teams. Available locations: Stavanger, Bergen and Trondheim.

Description

• The Engineer is responsible for planning and design work related to the planned operations. The engineer shall (but not limited to): 
• Provide the key planning for execution of Drilling & Well activities. 
• Support and follow-up of ongoing daily operations. 
• Perform experience transfer and well reporting. 
• Work in teams with other disciplines, perform method selection, risk assessment, evaluate and recommend required equipment. 
• Offshore travelling on request.

Requirements:

• Master of bachelor’s degree whithin relevant technical disciplines 
• Valid Offshore Safety Course (required for some roles) 
• HPHT experience is an advantage 
• Valid IWCF (required for some roles Compliance / Completion to internal competence requirement Personal Qualities Team builder where co-operation and teamwork are essential 
• A Structured approach regarding planning, coordinating and executing activities 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks 
• Performance driven and commercial mind-set 
• Good communication and analytic skills 
• Ability to live by our safety and security expectations
