Project Completion Engineer – Mechanical QC

Main Responsibility:

Ensure quality within Mechanical disciplines on the project at Yard. Support Construction, MC, and Commissioning to secure proper completion with correct quality.

Roles, Responsibilities and tasks:

• Perform quality assurance and control within mechanical installations according to agreed plans and targets.
• Ensure mechanical deliveries comply with standards, procedures, and client requirements.
• Cooperate closely with Construction, MC, and Commissioning.
• Participate in inspections, reviews, and deviation handling.
• Contribute to alliance collaboration and continuous improvement of processes and methods

Focus on:

• Rotating equipment installation and alignment
• Tanks cleanliness and preservation
• Piping alignment and dustblind management
• Nitrogen purging/heating and winterization
• Mechanical completion coordination (MC/ATS)
• Preservation and system readiness

Qualification requirements

Education

• Technical College degree or trade certificate within Mechanical disciplines

Essential experience and job requirements

• Experience from QA/QM in oil & gas topside projects
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, piping alignment, and preservation methods.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience in alliance/tie-in projects.
• Improvement- and quality-focused mindset

Contract period: 30.09.2025 – 01.09.2026, start date after agreement 

Work location: This position is fully mobile with base location Stord. Some travel and offshore can be expected.
