Marine Technology Engineer

We are currently looking for a Principal Marine Engineer consultant with broad experience in Marine Engineering/Operations design in greenfield/brownfield projects or offshore wind. 

Main tasks:

• Marine Engineering in projects
• Interface activities with T&I contractors
• Coordination and area responsibility for the Marine discipline as the Discipline Responsible Engineer (DRE)
• Arranging and leading internal meetings, client meetings, workshops, and reviews
• Interfacing with internal teams, clients, other disciplines, and the fabrication yard

Qualifications:

• Master/Bachelor of Science
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Marine Engineering/Operations design in greenfield/brownfield projects or offshore wind
• Experience and thorough knowledge of Marine Engineering/Operations according to relevant standards such as NORSOK and DNV
• Efficient communicator, proficient in English both orally and in writing
• Cooperative working attitude with acceptance of a multicultural team environment
• A natural team player with the ability to work independently
• Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements
• Proactive, seeking advice and sharing experiences with others
• Innovative approach, eager to improve methodology and solutions through digital tools
