Senior Automation Engineer

Main tasks:

• System Design, interface and follow up of Safety and Automation System activities as appointed by automation discipline lead.
• Specification of philosophies for Global SAS and automation design through topside SAS, Hull, Subsea and other large contractual interfaces.
• Input to, and review of, technical studies to be performed by vendors.
• Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers.
• Interface to other disciplines, contractors, suppliers and client.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or higher.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience from automation engineering in green field projects.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience from automation and SAS system design, incl. SAS/automation network solutions.
• Documented experience for follow-up of large multidiscipline packages.
• Experience and thorough knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC.
• FSE-course, valid through the engagement.
• Ex-course, valid through the engagement.
• Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English – both orally and in writing.
• Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as in team.
• Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements.
• Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others.
