Senior Electrical System Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical System Engineer consultant with experience from electrical engineering in greenfield offshore oil & gas or wind projects.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Package Responsible Engineer (PRE): Check, comment and finalize supplier documentation on electrical procurement packages, Main Switchboards, Sub distribution boards and UPS system
• SYSTEM: Support discipline lead in finalizing engineering documentation in addition to follow-on support for modifications on small power (light, socket, heat trace etc.)

Qualifications:

• Preferred Bachelor or master degree, electrical engineering. Alternatively technical college with relevant experience.
• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience from electrical engineering in greenfield offshore oil & gas or wind projects.
• Experience and knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standards such as DNV, ATEX, IEC and VDE.
• Have good communication skills.
• Have a cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
• Multidiscipline understanding
• Ability to work independently as well as in team
• Be systematic and accurate
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
• Communicate well in English – both orally and in writing
