Senior Planning Engineer – Drilling & Well

We are currently looking for engineers for drilling & well planning teams. These teams support our Well Construction Process and D&W operations with work location Stavanger & Bergen. The department is responsible for planning and execution of Interventions, P&A, Drilling, Completion and Subsea of new wells on Fixed platforms and Mobile installations. 

Roles and Responsibilities

The Engineer is responsible for planning and design work related to the planned operations. The engineer shall (but not limited to): 

• Provide the key planning for execution of Drilling & Well activities. 
• Support and follow-up of ongoing daily operations 
• Perform experience transfer and well reporting 
• Work in teams with other disciplines, perform method selection, risk assessment, evaluate and recommend required equipment. 
• Offshore traveling on request 

Qualifications

• Master or bachelor’s degree within relevant technical disciplines 
• Valid Offshore Safety Course (required for some roles) 
• Valid IWCF (required for some roles) 
• Compliance/Completion to internal competence requirement

Contract period: 19.10.2025-18.10.2026, option period 2×6 months

Work location: Stavanger or Bergen, commuters accepted.
