Senior Subsea Engineer

Are you a subsea engineer who wants a real exciting opportunity? One of our clients is searching for a Senior Subsea Engineer for a long assignment.

Responsibilities

• Follow up the scope for WH, XT and WOS in projects
• Establish and secure follow up verifications activities towards the Contractor to ensure that contract requirements are followed. Monitor and follow up Contractor’s implementation of Company’s Contractual requirements, including the relevant testing
• Monitor that Contractor’s engineering methods, principles, procedures and relating organization are sufficient to perform scope of work
• Ensure that Health, Safety and work Environment aspects are followed according to Project requirements
• Maintain an active dialog with the Contractor and establish formal communication and reporting procedures
• Report progress, resource consumption and cost on activities and deliverables against Project schedule
• Ensure good interface handling within Company, and monitor that information is flowing smoothly between contractors. 
• Assist in other project related matters as required
• Ensure that Project Quality System are adhered to plan, perform and report QS activities.
• Undertake follow up activities as verification, test and inspections
• Provide input to risk register and follow-up on these. 
• Identify and implement changes according to change control procedure in close cooperation with the System Group
• Participate in Project Team and interface meetings, weigh in on decisions and play an active role in problem-solving
• Give input to weekly and monthly reports
• Ensure proper handover to Operations through Commissioning and Ready for Operation activities
• Report lessons learned

Competence Requirements:

Education: Higher education / University or relevant experience

Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience within the offshore industry, including minimum 10 years specialization on Subsea production system follow-up.

Location

Main work site: Lysaker. Follow-up work in Kongsberg, Ågotnes, Dungermline and with sub-suppliers.

Domestic and International travel will be required.
