Role description
Our client is strengthening their procurement department by investing in data capabilities. This will result in several data teams to support and deliver on the full data value chain, including data governance, master data operations and data analytics. They are now looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to support this goal.
Tasks and responsibilities
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will provide supply chain insights that lead to better and faster decisions, harnessing predictive and prescriptive analytics to make analytics more accessible to everyone in the supply chain departments. Tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Support and advise on supply chain analytics (Plan2Pay, Material Management, Logistics) Contribute to developing an analytic strategic roadmap
- Data reporting and visualization
- Advise on Analytic tools for the future by supporting digital transformation
- Help drive the move towards prescriptive and predictive analytics
- Build and maintain standardized dynamic dashboards
- Use SCM Data science (Big data, Machine learning, Algorithms) in supply chain management
- Advise on and maintenance of SCM Embedded analytics (Fiori apps)
- Secure interface with the Finance & Control department
Competence Requirements
- A Bachelors or Masters in a field relevant to analytics (eg Supply Chain, Commercial, Technical)
- Knowledge and interest in analytic tools (SAP Business Warehouse, O365/Power platform preferential)
- Understanding of value chains, supply chains and supply chain data (procurement, logistics, materials/warehouse management)
- Interest in digital technologies and developing digital skills
- Eye for detail while understanding strategic directions
This is a 1-year contract with possibility for extension, and our client would like the candidate to start in August. As a consultant with Vega Consultants, you will receive competitive compensation and benefits, and regular follow-up throughout your assignment.
