The Commissioning Loop Test Lead will be responsible for leading, coordinating and executing loop testing activities for instrumentation systems. You will ensure that all loops are tested and verified in accordance with project specifications and standards. This role requires strong organizational skills and technical expertise to manage the loop testing process effectively.
Key role responsibilities:
- Lead role for ensuring completions and commissioning requirements of the PWP project, carried out safely and efficiently, and ensure they meet all clients project and operational requirements. Including verification and assurance.
- Responsible for implementing the commissioning certification and handover process.
- Responsible for ensuring safe and efficient handover to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.
- Lead loop testing, verification, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate and execute loop testing activities for instrumentation systems.
- Document and report loop test progress, issues, and results.
- Develop and maintain loop test plans, procedures, and schedules.
- Coordinate with engineering, MC, and construction teams to ensure smooth loop testing processes.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to loop testing team members.
- Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained during loop testing activities.
Qualification requirements:
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Both field and work-prep/engineering experience
- Technical College in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience
- Automation / Instrument Technician Certificate
- Documented Ex competence with valid classroom courses
- Offhore sertificate
