Commissioning Engineer Telecom

Main tasks:

• Responsible for dedicated Telecom Systems, providing supervision, direction, and guidance with regards to:
• Execution of Commissioning activities assigned by the Comm System Telecom Lead
• Verify Construction Field installations are according to design/drawings in collaboration with Telecom Lead
• Knowledge of reading/understanding drawings, functional specifications / procedures.
• Participate in check-out, verification (Walk Down/Yellow line) according to the RFCC Hand-Over Process
• Plan and facilitate for check-out/execution of static commissioning
• Plan and facilitate for Dynamic Commissioning activities
• Participate in meetings for planning Commissioning activities
• According to good Alliance practice, ensure good communication between operation, maintenance, contractors, and suppliers
• Daily reporting to the Commissioning Telecom Lead regarding ongoing Commissioning activities
• Assist with the collection of documentation related to RFOC Hand-over according to the System Lead’s instructions
• Contribute and advice related to Telecom input to overall Completion strategy and planning
• Manage related ATS and other resources providing services and supplying materials or equipment for Telecom Systems Commissioning
• Provide guidance and direction to the Telecom Commissioning Team, contributing in develop and review of relevant commissioning procedures
• This position is fully mobile with base location onshore yard Stavanger and Stord, and at later stage Offshore

Qualifications:

• BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education/experience
• Familiarity with Project Completions System (PIMS) and document management
• Documented Ex competence with valid classroom courses
• FSE course
