Contract Lead

Introduction

Our client is looking for an experienced Contract Lead to lead procurement activities in their Subsea, Engineering and Construction team. 

Tasks and responsibilities

• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams for efficient establishment of procurement strategies and contracts in the subsea engineering and construction division 
• Prepare and issue enquiries, manage and conduct bid evaluation, negotiations and prepare award recommendation 
• Manage internal and external stakeholders throughout the process 
• Perform contract start-up activities, incl. kick-off meetings and contract training with internal stakeholders and external suppliers  
• Manage contracts from award to contract closeout 

Competence Requirements

• Master’s degree and 8+ years relevant experience OR bachelor’s degree and 12+ years relevant experience from the oil and industry. 
• Project procurement experience is a requirement. 
• A strategic and commercial mindset with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• You show high personal integrity and ethical awareness 
• You have an “always improving” attitude and actively contribute to improving ways of working. 
• Skilled in developing, utilising and extending network of internal and external stakeholders.
• You are independent and flexible, with the ability to work within and lead multidisciplinary teams across the organization. 

This is a 1-year contract with possibility for extension, and our client would like the candidate to start as soon as possible. Working location is Stavanger.
