The Field Commissioning Lead is responsible for planning, managing and coordinating system integration testing activities. The position shall provide leadership & direction to all project delivery-lines with respect to field integration testing, relevant marine assistance and related risk management.
Position Purpose
- Participate in ensuring the Project completion and commissioning requirements are implemented and carried out safely & efficiently, foreseeing they meet all Company’s project and operational requirements, including verification and assurance.
- Accountable for ensuring the safe and efficient handover of Field integration systems/integration packages to the Asset Operations team upon completion of cross plant integration commissioning activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide clear leadership & direction to relevant disciplines ensuring that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve Company’s expectations.
- Provision of commissioning support to project as required including securing sufficient manning according to project needs.
- When required act as the site Commissioning Authority during the commissioning phases
Key Responsibilities
As part of the Project Commissioning Team, the Field Commissioning Lead`s responsibility will include supervision, direction and guidance with regards to:
- Contribute to the preparation of project forecasts, schedules, costs estimate associated with the field integration scope for Project, ensuring seamless integration of all plants.
- Contribute and advice related to overall Completion strategy and planning, ensuring field integration aspects are considered.
- Manage relevant contractors and other resources providing services and supplying materials or equipment for field Commissioning.

- As required, set up and co-ordinate workshops and commissioning reviews covering all disciplines and project delivery lines to develop an integrated integration execution plan.
- Contribute to the establishment of completions and handover strategy and documentation early in projects to support efficient commissioning and handover to operations at end of project.
Provide leadership and direction to the Commissioning Team, coordinating the appropriate Commissioning discipline resources with the skills to:
- Develop, review and implement required Commissioning procedures and bridging documents
- Ensure alignment against all interfacing topside systems
- Implement the Field Commissioning scope
- Ensure a smooth transaction from project to Operations
Qualification requirements
Education
- BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
- Experience from relevant field integration role and Field’s operations is of great benefit
Work location: This position is fully mobile with base location onshore office Stavanger.
Contract period: 02.03.2026(after agreement)-31.12.2027
