Introduction
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Material Master Coordinator to be responsible for managing and maintaining the integrity of material master data within the ERP system. This role ensures that all material-related information (Material Master Data) is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with all initiatives related to their assigned segment, in this case, Drilling & Well. This is a 1-year contract based in Stavanger.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management
- Create, update, and maintain material master records in the ERP
Material Groups for Drilling and Wells
- Develop and maintain specific material groups related to Drilling and Wells, ensuring appropriate categorization and alignment
- Identify and categorize Long Lead items to ensure timely procurement and availability for projects, and assign them to the appropriate material groups
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Collaborate with procurement, contract, and inventory teams to gather material specifications and requirements.
- Work closely with DIGE and SCM to troubleshoot and resolve data issues within the ERP system with regards to prices, tagging of Long lead equipment, overview of material groups, standardized equipment and processes, to ensure data quality.
Desired qualifications and experience
- Previous relevant experience in logistics in the oil and gas industry is a requirement, minimum 2 years.
- Ideally, you have experience updating ERP systems and maintaining overviews of stock levels, pricing, and lead times.
- Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
- You enjoy working in fast-paced environments, and are able to organise large amounts of data and information.
- You are proactive and show initiative when problems arise.
- Fluent English and Norwegian is required. Candidates must be eligible for work in Norway.
