Materials and Corrosion Engineer
On behalf of our client, an oil&gas operator, we are currently looking for a Subsea Materials Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Subsea Material Engineer, covering SPS & SURF scope of work
- The role is part of the technical Company team reporting to the Engineering Manager
- The role is responsible for follow-up of material selection process
- Ensure lessons learned and operational experience are implemented in the design
- Provide technical advice about the suitability of specified and alternative design, solutions and materials
- Review relevant materials and fabrication documentation
- Ensure compliance in fabrication to Company’s own requirements, regulatory requirements and project specifications and relevant industry and international standards
- Contribute to project risk assessment reviews and evaluation on Company’s involvement strategy
- Assist on ITP reviews, give input on technical requirements and attendance level for Company
- Contribute to fulfilment of the ‘’see to it’’ duty as responsible Company Quality Control
- Perform required ITP activities, coordinate with Quality Lead
- Advise on relevant TQ’s, NCR’s and CR’s. Involve and coordinate with relevant Company TA.
- Participate in kick-off meetings, pre-production meetings and other production meetings from suppliers as required.
- Attend design verifications from a system perspective as required (e.g. CARA, HAZOP, HAZID)
- Involve, assist and communicate with Company fabrication representatives
- Be an active driver towards the Company values
Contract period: 06.05.2024 (After agreement) – 31.12.2026
