We are currently looking for a Project Completion Engineer – Area Completion consultant with experience from NORSOK projects.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- System responsible for ensuring planning, preparation and follow-up of area completion activities in a safe, efficient and timely manner according to Project Completion Strategy and commissioning plans and ensure they meet all project and operational requirements, including verification and assurance
- Accountable for ensuring the safe and efficient handover of plant and equipment to the Asset Operations team upon completion of area completion activities.
- Contribute to the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings that are relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems.
- Provide engineering input
- Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems, including input to plan.
- Work independently to plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities.
- Participate in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites.
- Deliver input and update progress into project completion system PIMS.
- Develop, review, and implementation of commissioning procedures.
- Coordinate with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning with high focus on HSSE.
- Plan and call off ATS as and when required.
- Manage assistance personnel from contractors and other resources providing services
- Ensure spare parts and special tools are available prior to execution of commissioning activities.
- Plan and ensure first fills are available in timely fashion and perform first fills.
- Provide leadership to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve client’s expectations.
- Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.
- Participate in discipline MC punch rounds at sites for designated systems.
- Plan and execute commissioning activities in a timely manner based on Commissioning plan.
- Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.
- Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bsc. or MSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience from NORSOK projects.
- System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding.
- Track record of delivery in the Oil & Gas industry for the Norwegian Continental Shelf and able to demonstrate effective system commissioning skills are a major advantage.
- Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems. Experience with PIMS is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of the English and Norwegian languages (both written and verbal).
- Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning engineers & technicians to achieve timely execution of commissioning activities.

Contract period: 09.03.2026(after agreement)-31.03.2027
Work location: Stord – 15/20 rotation. Offshore travels are also required.
