Senior Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer, Automation & Instruments. The commissioning engineer will have system responsibilities on site onshore and later offshore.

Responsibilities:

• Writing commissioning procedures 
• Following up on loop testing and automation
• Field instrument commissioning
• Sequences for packages
• Use of PIMS, queries
• Software changes
• Punch handling
• Vendor follow-up
• Interface signal testing between platforms, subsea, and electro.

The role is responsible for coordinating the Project Execution Plan and ensuring alignment across the entire Project Completion Team by contributing to good cooperation and communication across units and levels. The commissioning engineer will also ensure continuous improvement throughout the project and promote, document, and manage learning across the project team and towards other projects. 

Candidate needs background in commissioning automation. 

The experience, qualifications and abilities required for this position are as follows:

• University degree or equivalent.
• Result and safety oriented
• Experience from oil and gas projects.
• Extensive knowledge of governing documentation.
• Well-developed teambuilding, co operational- and communication abilities.
• Ability to handle responsibility and periodically high work load.
• Ability to drive activities to be complete on schedule 
• Establish good relations with Contractors
