Senior Planning Engineer – Drilling & Wells

We are currently looking for Senior D&W Planning Engineers for exciting projects at an oil&energy operator on the NCS. 

The department is responsible for planning and execution of Interventions, P&A, Drilling, Completion and Subsea of new wells on Fixed platforms and Mobile installations. We are currently looking for engineers for drilling & well planning teams. These teams are supporting the Well Construction Process and D&W operations with work location Stavanger & Bergen. 

Roles and Responsibilities

The Engineer is responsible for planning and design work related to the planned operations. The engineer shall (but not limited to): 

• Provide the key planning for execution of Drilling & Well activities. Support and follow-up of ongoing daily operations 
• Perform experience transfer and well reporting 
• Work in teams with other disciplines, perform method selection, risk assessment, evaluate and recommend required equipment. 
• Offshore traveling on request 

Qualifications

• Master or bachelor’s degree within relevant technical disciplines
• Valid Offshore Safety Course (required for some roles) (HPHT experience is an advantage) 
• Valid IWCF (required for some roles) 
• Compliance/Completion to internal competence requirement

Contract period: 04.05.25 (after agreement) – 02.05.26. Option period of 2×6 months.
