Senior Project Engineer

On behalf of our client, an oil and gas operator, we are currently looking for a Project Engineer to support the Project Director in planning and execution of the project portfolio. The role is part of the Company Project Business Unit. The tasks can vary but may include the listed.   

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and coordination of various strategic initiatives
• Follow up on initiatives for PRO (projects business unit) being the integrator
• Planning and structuring of meetings
• Prepare documents and presentations to support passing of Decision Gates (DG)
• Prepare presentations to support communication in the PRO 
• Support management review and other assurance activities
• Prepare documents relevant for stakeholder management, meetings and reviews
• Promote continuous improvement and drive the learning and transformation agenda, especially wrt digital
• Support, document and manage learning across the team and towards other projects/assets
• Contribute to risk management and stakeholder management. 

Qualifications:

• M.Sc./B.Sc. in engineering.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience from multidiscipline projects within E&P, or experience with one or more project delivery lines (Facility, Drilling, Subsea, HSSEQ, Operations). 
• Previous experience with one of the service providers to E&P is also relevant.
• Good technical and multidiscipline overview
• Fluent abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
• Open to new learning and applying digital solutions

Contract period: 12/08/2024 (after agreement) – 11/08/2026
