Introduction
Aker BP ASA (operator) and the joint venture partners have made an investment decision to redevelop the Valhall field, including installation of a new centrally located platform (PWP), and to develop the Fenris field. We are now looking for a Field Engineer for Structure, for the Utility Module being built at Rosenberg Worley Stavanger. After completion at Rosenberg, the module will be installed at Stord as part of the PWP platform.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate HSSEQ leadership by being a role model. Promoting HSSEQ principles, mindset, and Company SAFER Values. Active participation to achieve project HSSEQ goals.
- Demonstrate HSSEQ Leadership by emphasizing personal commitment.
- Review technical documentation and requirements and ensure an adequate standard.
- Monitor the construction for the construction for all Structural and mechanical, to ensure good interface with other disciplines.
- Member of Company Site team and contribute to the group as the driving force within your discipline. For day-to-day business report to Construction manager.
- Follow up contractors’ performance with construction, MC and QC and follow up by site inspections including pre-fabrication site and report all non-compliance.
- Participate in inspection activities according to Inspection and Test plan (ITP) as required.
- Assist production with interpretation of drawings and job basis.
- Close communication with work leader method, shop engineering, PRE, with more.
- Help ensure that operators have adequate skills in respective trades and continuously follow up on quality of installation activities.
- Follow up the MC documentation from contractors and subcontractors during the installation period and assist in verification of MC certificates and Punch items.
- Follow up site progress and the MC documentation during the installation period.
- Monitor receipt and storage of materials to ensure traceability and that systems and equipment are protected and preserved through fabrication and installation.
- Participate in SJA, Risk Assessment, HAZID, HAZOP or other HSSEQ related reviews when required.
- Contribute to the Management of Change process and to project risk workshop.
- Identify and follow up relevant opportunities, risks, and mitigating actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor with 3 years structural experience. Lack of education can be compensated with relevant work experience.
- Active and solution oriented, and the ability to work integrated with Contractor.
- Team player
- HSSEQ experience
- Knowledge of Mechanical Completion systems, such as PIMS CMS, MIPS, IFS etc.
- Auditing knowledge and experience for both Quality and HSSE
